About Marisol
My name is Marisol and I live in the most isolated country in South America. My country is named after the famous South American general, Simon Bolivar. He is called El Liberator and led victories over Spain for many South American countries, including mine! The capital of my country, La Paz, is the highest city in the world at over 13,000 feet above sea level. That’s almost 3 miles! I live with my family in the Andes Mountains near Lake Titicaca, the largest fresh water lake in South America. I help Mama tend our crops and watch the animals. This is my favourite goat, because she follows me around her pen, but I also like our llamas. Do you know where I live?
